In the article "Why is this man smiling?", Weschler describe the progress that animators made to simulate the facial expression. A viewpoint that I really agree with the writer is that we don't need a completely replication of human being with soul and consciousness. A really replication is a kind of action that broke the balance of natural and things may grow out of control. What animators should focus is that how to make the animation more vivid and this is exactly the purpose for animators to improve the technology on simulation.
I was wondering if it is possible for us to replicate a real human. Though our technology improves day by day, but there must be something that we are not able to do. We are just a part of natural, maybe a little special but still have to follow the natural rules.
